چکیده
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>The societal impact of traffic is a long-standing and complex problem. We focus on the estimation ground-level ozone production due to vehicular traffic. propose comprehensive computational approach combining four consecutive modules: simulation module, an emission module for main chemical reactions leading production, diffusion gases in atmosphere. The based second-order flow model, obtained by choosing special velocity function Collapsed Generalized Aw-Rascle-Zhang model. A general taken from literature, tuned NGSIM data together with module. Last two modules are reaction-diffusion partial differential equations. system equations describing nitrogen oxides presents source term given applied output use proposed analyze various scenarios describe effect light timing. numerical tests show negative vehicles restarts emissions, consequent increase pollutants air, suggesting length green phase lights.</p>

A neuro-fuzzy approach to vehicular traffic flow prediction for a metropolis in a developing country
Short-term prediction of traffic flow is central to alleviating congestion and controlling the negative impacts of environmental pollution resulting from vehicle emissions on both inter- and intra-urban highways. The strong need to monitor and control congestion time and costs for metropolis in developing countries has therefore motivated the current study. This paper establishes the applicatio...
متن کاملiranian english learners’ perception and personality: a dual approach to investigating influential factors on willingness to communicate
abstract previous studies on willingness to communicate (wtc) have shown the influence of many individual or situational factors on students’ tendency to engage in classroom communication, in which wtc has been viewed either at the trait-level or situational level. however, due to the complexity of the notion of willingness to communicate, the present study suggests that these two strands are ...
a benchmarking approach to optimal asset allocation for insurers and pension funds
uncertainty in the financial market will be driven by underlying brownian motions, while the assets are assumed to be general stochastic processes adapted to the filtration of the brownian motions. the goal of this study is to calculate the accumulated wealth in order to optimize the expected terminal value using a suitable utility function. this thesis introduced the lim-wong’s benchmark fun...
15 صفحه اولa frame semantic approach to the study of translating cultural scripts in salingers franny and zooey
the frame semantic theory is a nascent approach in the area of translation studies which goes beyond the linguistic barriers and helps us to incorporate cognitive and cultural factors to the study of translation. based on rojos analytical model (2002b), which centered in the frames or knowledge structures activated in the text, the present research explores the various translation problems that...
15 صفحه اولA Statistical Approach to Vehicular Traffic
A two–dimensional cellular automaton is introduced to model the flow and jamming of vehicular traffic in cities. Each site of the automaton represents a crossing where a finite number of cars can wait approaching the crossing from each of the four directions. The flow of cars obeys realistic traffic rules. We investigate the dependence of the average velocity of cars on the global traffic densi...
